Landry James Luker

Landry is a medical student at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and is currently pursuing his MBA at Rice University as part of an MD/MBA dual degree program. He currently serves as the Lone Star Survival 2024-2025 Executive Director and is interested in a career in Emergency Medicine. He began working with Lone Star Survival in 2021 as the leader of a local team before serving as the Associate Director from 2022 – 2024.

Joshua Jones

Josh is a fourth-year medical student at McGovern Medical School in Houston. He is currently serving as the 2024 - 2025 Lone Star Survival Associate Director. His prior experiences include service in the United States Navy and working five years as a paramedic prior to medical school. He is interested in pursuing a career as a critical care medicine physician.

Kellie Walker

Kellie is a 3rd year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where she is pursuing an MD/MPH dual degree. She is serving as the 2024-2025 Public Relations director. She worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for over 3 years prior to medical school and currently is a BLS and ACLS instructor in the Texas Medical Center. She is interested in a career in Emergency Medicine.

Marissa Shumaker

Marissa is a second-year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine in Temple. She is serving as the Financial Director. Marissa received a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Washington. Afterward, she was a Research Scientist at the Averkiou Laboratory in Seattle before attending medical school. She enjoys community health education and training.
